Human Rights Watch is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world. Their
website contains reports and updates on the human rights situation in
China. For Tibet the site provides a summary of and excerpts from a Human
Rights Watch production titled "Tibet Since 1950: Silence, Prison,
or Exile," as well as a map of Tibet and a link to the MSNBC website's
gallery of images from Tibet during the fifty years of Chinese government
control.
